To complete the look of its covered terrace, Griffintown restaurant Le Richmond called on Décors Véronneau’s design team. Our experts designed and installed a fire-retardant artificial plant wall behind the bar, to meet the required safety standards.
This outdoor green wall was designed with flame-retardant artificial boxwood treated against discoloration. The wooden panel was painted with a black fire-retardant paint. A variety of fire-retardant foliage was also used in the wall, including syngonium, moss, fern, ficus and dracaena.
Finally, to complete the project, fire-retardant dragon wood was incorporated.

Fire-retardant plants offer a protection in the event of fire, since they are made of non-flammable materials. This makes them the perfect solution for retirement homes, where standards demand this. To find out more, visit the following page: Fire-resistant plants
