Can you feel the fall season slowly settling in? The leaves on the trees changing colors, the classic apple picking time, the return of pumpkin spice coffee and the warm blankets…that sweet mix that makes us so excited for fall! We can’t move time forward, but we can always get a head start by transforming our home decor for the new season. So here are 7 types of greenery to create a fall decor on a budget.
1- Pampas grass
Pampas are truly in for the fall season, with their soft feathers. We love them in a large floor vase, or as a centerpiece on a table. In a bedroom, they bring a relaxing element that will make any room a place of relaxation where it will be good to stay in.
2- Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus comes in a variety of colors and shapes, from yellow eucalyptus to hanging eucalyptus! The best part is that you don’t even need to add anything else, a handful of these stems is enough to give a rustic, fall look to the decor.
3- Olive tree branch
Olive trees are the new favorite trees of influencers! It’s not just the trees that are popular, olive tree branches are too. We love using them as a decorative accessory in the center of a table or a kitchen island. You can even use them as foliage in a bouquet of hydrangeas and white roses. Added in a pottery-style vase, olive stems will bring a clean look to the room.
4- Magnolia foliage
Magnolia leaves range from green to brown, a sweet reminder of autumn leaves. We are very inspired by rambling renovators who dared to decorate her fireplace mantle with magnolia branches! Combined with a few candlesticks, a picture frame and a vase, the magnolia will allow you to have an inviting and warm living room all season long.
5- Leaf spray
Greenery is the best way to bring a springtime feel to your decor. For the new season, we suggest variegated leaves, yellow or even sage colors. To change a decor into fall mode, it’s all about the tones you are using. Remember that yellow and orange will be the colors of choice for September and October!
6- Tillandsia
The tillandsia is in fact a succulent plant! It is worth knowing with its foliage all in movement. Its greenish-gray color makes it a particularly interesting plant to decorate for fall. We are in love with the little corner made by Christine Kissick with a candle on a beautiful wooden stool.
