What is preserved moss?
Preserved moss or stabilized moss is a natural moss that has undergone a preservation process to keep it fresh – both in appearance and color – without the need for water, sunlight or maintenance of any kind. It’s a 100% organic and durable choice.
What are the main types of stabilized moss?
Sheet Moss
- Description : Flat, fine, uniform moss in large, easy-to-install sheets.
- Use: Ideal for covering large surfaces, creating uniform backgrounds or covering decorative structures.
- Advantage: Easy to work with, it offers a clean, continuous finish.
Pole Moss

Mood Moss

Three essential elements to know
MAINTAIN A HUMIDITY LEVEL OF 50%.
Since the flexibility of preserved moss depends on the humidity level in the room, and it becomes fragile as it dries, it’s best to use it in low-traffic areas where it can’t be touched. A humidity level of 50% is recommended in the room where it will be installed.
DO NOT EXPOSE TO DIRECT LIGHT
Preserved moss should not be exposed to direct natural sunlight or placed in a space with too much light, as this may alter its original appearance and color. It is therefore preferable to install it away from windows to avoid any change in the appearance of your moss wall.
NATURAL PLANT PRODUCT
Before opting for this option, note that preserved moss is a botanical product, which means that it has a unique natural odor that is present upon receive it. This is quite normal and tends to fade gradually over time.

No watering, maintenance-free
Unlike natural moss, stabilized moss requires no water, sunlight or special care. What’s more, the preservation process gives it anti-static properties that prevent dust build-up.
