For the Cree Nation Government Offices in Montreal, our goal was to integrate native plants to create spaces that faithfully reflect the identity and cultural heritage of the Nation.
We installed a selection of artificial plants including cedar, ferns, bark, green moss, and wild grasses. These elements were incorporated as plant inserts, potted plants, decorative arrangements, and handcrafted trees with natural trunks.
The centerpiece of this design is an oversized tree located in the stairwell, creating a strong and symbolic visual impact, embodying the strength and connection to nature unique to the Cree Nation.
