‘Tis the season to start thinking about your outdor holiday decor, and illuminated Birch arrangements are a must-have ! While they will bring a festive touch to any entrance, they can easily liven up your entryway all season with the right colors and ornamentation.
Create your own Christmas arrangement :
- Get inspired by the season’s trends, and choose a style that will marry well with your current outdoor decor.
- Choose a pot for your arrangement. Something you have on hand from last summer is perfect for this type of project, otherwise we have an amazing selection in store.
- Place your Birch trunks in the pot, ensuring that they stand up straight. For your arrangement to look its best, group trunks in threes and keep them at differing heights. If you prefer to skip this step, you can always purchase a pre-made Birch arrangement.
- Wrap the Birch with strings of Christmas lights. Use warm white lights for a traditional look, while pure whites create a more modern look. We prefer to use LED lights due to their longevity, as you can be sure that your arrangement will be lit all season!
- Hide the base of your trunks with a bit of greenery, like fir branches. You can mix pine and fir branches to create texture, as well as add artifical flowers for more depth. Add some tulle for a pop of color and an unexpected detail.
- Be sure to decorate upwards ! When adding greenery, opt for different picks and branches, like berries. Be sure to use waterproof berries and branches to keep your arrangement looking its best.
- Add some festive Christmas balls and ornaments with twine. Keep smaller ornaments in grouped in threes.
- Last but not least, admire your masterpiece !
