Looking for a creative activity to keep you busy this winter? Here is a simple tutorial to make your own artificial succulents!
Step 1 : gather all your material
Before anything else, make sure to gather the products you will need on your work surface…
To make this DIY, you will need :

Step 2 : fill your planter with decorative rocks
Using a planter that you have at home or that you bought in a store, form the base of your composition! To do so, use a few bags of polished white rocks and pour them into the chosen planter. These will be very useful for fixing your different succulent stems.
Note: you could also use a block of floral foam, mulch or green moss...

Step 3 : stick your taller succulents
Once your base is well in place, come and stick your biggest plants in it! It will be easier to complete the arrangement with smaller succulents or artificial flowers, if you want to make an original arrangement. Many options are available to you! Here, we find echeverias and a tillandsia.

Step 4 : add a trailing sedum stem
In a plant arrangement, consider varying textures, finishes, colors and heights! The sedum is a very interesting succulent to include in an arrangement, thanks to its trailing leaves that bring movement to all styles of creations.
Note: you could also choose to put some other types of trailing plants...

Step 5 : complete with your smallest succulents
Last but not least: filler plants! These are very useful to fill the empty spaces in your arrangements. Just put your smallest succulents like star echeverias or sedum bouquets here and there in your composition.
